This solution should stop the growth of mold across a small area but if the growth has become too extensive you may need a professional to assess the damage and treat the area. Often times extensive mold growth on the surface means there is even more damage that can’t easily be seen.

Pros

• Does not last as long as hardwood floors, with a typical lifespan of 15-30 years

For laminate flooring, the pros do seem to outweigh the cons, but really the choice comes down to personal preference. While laminate floors are less expensive and more durable, they do not have the same aesthetics as a genuine hardwood floor.
